Heavy-duty construction and user-adjustable valving for stability, control and comfort on and off the road.

Durable twin-tube

A smoother, more controlled ride on tarmac and gravel.

User adjustable valving

Firmer for long highway drives, softer for comfort and traction on rough terrain.

Application specific

Calibrated to geometry, weight and real-world off-road use.

RAID

Built for extremes. Ready to roam.

Shop RAID →

Trusted worldwide in the harshest environments, RAID increases size and strength over Heavy Track for long-lasting performance and control.

Heavy duty steel body

2.5 mm thick steel body and robust attachment fittings, with OEM installation tolerances.

Oversized 70 mm piston

More oil capacity to dissipate heat faster for prolonged performance.

Twin-tube with reserve tube

Resists fade on long rough stretches and adds protection from rock strikes and debris.

User adjustable valving

Digressive rebound adjustment for terrain, payload, spring rates or environment.

RAID is designed to remain functional even if the outer body is deformed by rock strikes. The extra oil capacity also softens low-speed response over chatter and uneven surfaces while keeping damping predictable when the terrain gets aggressive.

FAQ

Common questions

Heavy Track or RAID: which should I choose?
KONI positions Heavy Track for SUVs and light 4x4s that tackle rough terrain occasionally, and RAID for the toughest off-road conditions, with a heavier 2.5 mm body and oversized 70 mm piston.
How are they adjusted?
KONI lists Heavy Track and RAID as internal (compress to adjust). On Northman, spec data also shows button and external adjustment on some part numbers, so check the Adjustment row on the Specs tab.
What is HT-Active?
A KONI 4WD shock that our spec data lists as ACTIVE technology, with no manual adjustment. KONI's global site has no separate page for it.
Will RAID survive rock strikes?
KONI designs RAID to remain functional even if the outer body is deformed by rock strikes.
What about 88/90 Series?
KONI's 88 and 90 Series pages cover heavy-duty commercial vehicle dampers. On Northman, "88 Series" appears in some Heavy Track titles as part of the part number, not as a separate range.
