About KONI 4WD shocksTechnology, adjustment, warranty and the full range
A complete 50mm lift for the Nissan Patrol GQ (Y60) LWB wagon, 1988-1997, built around KONI RAID 90 Series shocks and King Springs coils front and rear. It's set up to improve ride quality, handling and control on sealed roads, touring routes and off-road.
The KONI RAID shocks are paired with raised King Springs coils matched to your front and rear load, plus a caster correction bush kit, a leading arm to chassis bush kit and a pin/pin steering damper. See every part in the What's in the kit tab.
Why KONI RAID 90 Series shocks
- Huge 70mm body. Twin-tube, oil filled, with a large oil capacity for efficient heat dissipation.
- 42mm piston, 18mm rod. A massive 42mm PTFE-coated piston and hard chromed 18mm rod.
- Heat resistant Viton seals. Built for long, hot, rough tracks.
- Rebound adjustable and serviceable. Fine-tune rebound damping, and service the shocks rather than replace them.
- Proven in tough conditions. Proven in the Simpson Desert, on the Canning Stock Route and in the Dakar Rally.
Caster correction included
The offset caster bush kit adds about 2 degrees of caster correction after the lift, restoring steering feel and control and helping prevent the tyre wear issues that come from lifting your 4WD.
Bush kits and steering damper

- Formula pin/pin steering damper.
The bush kits are supplied in SuperPro or Whiteline, and you can choose a brand preference when you build your kit. A wheel alignment is needed after fitting.
Ride, handling and load
The KONI RAID 90 Series is built for remote touring and hard off-road use, with the oil capacity to stay consistent over long rough sections.
- Matched to your load. The springs create the lift, so choose your front load (bull bar and winch), engine and rear load when you build your kit. Getting this right gives a level stance and a comfortable ride, and stops the rear sagging.
- Accessories first. Where possible, fit permanent accessories like bars, winches, drawers and canopies before the lift kit so the suspension is matched correctly from the start.
- Professional fitting. We recommend installation by a suspension technician or mechanic, preferably with wheel alignment facilities.
Recommended upgrades (not included)
These parts aren't part of this kit and don't change its price. We recommend them for a GQ Patrol, and they're sold separately:
- SuperPro TRC1215 performance leading arm kit (replaces the caster and leading arm bush kits)
- SuperPro TRC9022 billet swaybar mount saddle kit
Who it suits
GQ Patrol owners who want one setup that does it all: daily driving, touring, towing and off-road. These kits suit the LWB wagon only (not SWB). Check your vehicle in the Vehicle Fitment tab before you order.

3 year / 60,000kmKONI lift kits are covered by a 3 year / 60,000km warranty. The standard warranty conditions below apply.
Proof of purchase
Proof of purchase is required, such as your order number. Keep the part and any related components until your claim is finalised.

How to make a claim
Fill in the Warranty Request form with your order number, the product, your vehicle details, how the vehicle is used and a description of the problem.
We'll reply within 3–5 business days and ask for clear photos or videos of the part, the problem area and how it's fitted.
Most claims are diagnosed from photos or videos.
